Summer in the PA Grand Canyon

Summers spent in the PA Grand Canyon area bring with them wonderful times for families and friends, and great vacations long remembered for laughter and swimming, bike rides and hikes, for ice cream and endless picnics.

Visit Tioga county Pennsylvania in the summer and you’ll have a chance to see the PA Grand Canyon in full blossom. The summer is time for fly fishing and floating in inner tubes down pine creek. It’s time for relaxing in the shade with a nice cold drink. It’s time to take time out for family and friends, and for you.

The sounds of summer songbirds at first dawn to the peepers heard at dusk, the flowing water and a warm breeze, all create the sonic summer soundscape playing in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. The blossoming flowers and green growing backdrop of trees and grasses are the canvas on which your perfect day is painted. The slowed relaxing pace and friendly hometown welcome make the perfect setting for your next getaway.

June, July, August and September are popular months for vacation trips to the PA Canyon. This is a spectacular time to visit the canyon. The area offers a great variety of lodging choices including PA Grand Canyon area cottages, cabins, b&b's, motels and camping. It is always advised to book your accommodations early to insure availability.

Bring your bike and take a ride on the pine creek rail trail, or take a covered wagon ride through the canyon. Great hiking, golfing, fishing…great eating, drinking and relaxing.
